Fleetwood Pier 1950's
I came across this photograph the other day. Here I am with my sister on the promenade near the entrance to Fleetwood Pier. This was taken several years before the catastrophic fire. I don't remember the year, but look at how the lady standing near the door is dressed. The Pier had hundreds of wooden slot machines and after the fire, kids would go under the pier to search for coins. There were plenty of the big pennies to be found. www.philipjohnbrooks.com
